Xiaomi has recently launched the Mi 6 and later the Mi Max 2 smartphone in China last month. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is the flagship smartphone from the company after the last year’s Mi 5 was launched by the company. The Mi Max 2, on the other hand, is the flagship phablet from the company for this year as well as the successor to the Xiaomi Mi Max launched last year. The Mi Max 2 also becomes only the second device in the Max series from Xiaomi as the Max series was started just last year. Now, the company has bought the Mi Max 2 as well as the Mi 6 in the Russian markets.
Talking about the specifications of both the smartphones, the Xiaomi Mi 6 features a 5.15-inch Full HD display, octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC, Adreno 540 GPU, 6GB of RAM, and either 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage. There’s a 12MP dual camera setup at the back, an 8MP selfie camera, and a 3,350mAh battery. Talking about the Mi Max 2, the smartphone features a 6.44-inch Full HD display. It houses a Snapdragon 625 chipset, Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB expandable storage space, 12MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and a humongous 5,300mAh battery. Both the phones run the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Xiaomi’s MIUI on top.
Talking about the pricing of the Xiaomi Mi 6 as well as Mi Max 2 in Russian markets, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to be priced around 29,990 rubles whereas the Mi Max 2 could get a price of 19,990 rubles. The Xiaomi Mi 6 will be available in Russia from July 4 in the online stores and the phone is expected to come in the offline markets sometime later this year. However, we have not received any information about the availability of the Mi Max 2 in the online as well as offline markets. Both the smartphones from Xiaomi have been launched in partnership with RDC Group in Russia.
