Last week, we reported that Xiaomi Mi A3 users signed the petition because of the delay of the Android 10 update. Back in August 2019, at the launch event of Mi A3 Xiaomi said that it will be the first device to receive an Android 10 update. It has been four months since Android 10 has launched and the device didn’t receive the update. This was the reason why users signed the petition.
Since the Mi A3 didn’t receive the update, Mi A2 users thought that they’ll receive the update once Mi A3 gets the update. But things were different, Xiaomi released Android 10 update for Mi A2 on January 13. Xiaomi also released kernels for both the smartphones i.e. Mi A2 and Mi A3 on the same day. Everyone was waiting for Xiaomi’s official confirmation for the Android 10 update of Mi A3.
Yesterday, a user asked Xiaomi regarding Mi A3’s Android 10 update since the Mi A2 received the update. The brand replied that “Glad to announce the update will be out in mid-February”. So everyone is eagerly waiting for mid-February to receive the update and enjoy the Android 10.
