Today Xiaomi has confirmed to push the Android 11 beta update very soon for the Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi K30S Ultra, Mi CC9, Mi CC9 Meitu Edition, Mi 9SE, Mi 9, and Mi 9 Pro 5G.
Update 1 (November 10)
As per an unofficial report, Xiaomi has suspended the closed beta rollout for the Redmi K30 Ultra. This has been done because of a major version upgrade. Besides, this hints that the Android 11 update could be soon arriving for the device. This is because the Redmi K30 Ultra already runs on Android 10 out of the box, and the only OS in-sight is the Android 11 OS. Here is what the information reads:
Due to the major version upgrade of Android, Redmi 10X, Redmi 10X Pro, and Redmi K30 Ultra will be suspended for internal testing from 11.10, thank you for your understanding.
Update 2 (November 25)
As it turns out that the suspension of Redmi K30 Ultra was indeed meant for the Android 11 update. Because Xiaomi has now started rolling out the first Android 11-based builds for the device. The Redmi K30 Ultra receives the first beta build of Android 11 with version number 20.11.24. Users who are part of the closed beta program in China should receive the update.
