Recently, ZTE sub-brand Nubia confirmed that the company holding a launch event for its latest flagship smartphone, called Nubia Z18. The date and place confirmed by the company for the launch event on September 5th in China. The company sent the invitations in a very different way. The company sent an interesting paraphernalia which is a crystal ball which also a teaser itself. The invitation teases the bezel-less display and it also a main highlight point of the phone.
The crystal ball invitation is pretty good in looking and can light up and plays music as well. It has a wooden stand for resting. The ball also comes with a slogan “Exploration without boundaries”. The slogan suggests that the Nubia upcoming flagship phone may have a bezel-less display. The Nubia Z series smartphones stand for the ultra-thin bezels display and the upcoming phone will take that even further. In the recent past, the images of the Z18 leaked online and suggested that the phone will come with water drop notch design just like the Oppo R17 Pro.
Recently, the ZTE Nubia Z18 appeared on TENAA and showed its under the hood specs. According to the TENAA listing, the Z18 will come with a 5.99-inch display that supports 1080 x 2160 pixels of resolution and probably 18:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor under the hood. The Z18 will have two models, the base model and high-end model. The Z18 base model will have 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage option while the high-end Nubia Z18 will have 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage on board. The phone will have dual rear camera sensors, 24-megapixel main camera and 8-megapixel secondary camera. For the selfies and video calls, the phone will come with the 8-megapixel camera.
The phone is expected to pack with 3,500 mAh capacity battery inside the body. It also expected to have a fingerprint scanner on the back side of the phone.
