Brightcore is one of those resources in the game that is a little difficult to get. Since Brightcore can only be found in “dry valley” caves, so you need to first move towards a desert biome before moving on to a cave. To know whether you are in the correct area or not, check the temperature should rise and cacti will appear everywhere (which is a sign of a desert area).

Once you are in the desert, you will have to move around to find the cave. Also, remember that the caves in the desert area will be very hot, so make sure to prepare a cool-headed charm with three silk threads, three sand shells, and a marble at an upgraded crafting bench. Also, you must prepare some Snowberry Shakes with two snowberries and a milk. You will get the milk from the cow when you pet them. To make the shake, you will need a juicer which will require eight planks, eight marble slabs from a stone breaker, and five knotroot rods. Also, you will need a rare pickaxe for which you will need three flex wood rods and three sand claws.

The Brightcore is only found near the lave. So, check whether your desert cave has the lave or not. If you don’t find the lava, check for the another desert cave.

Once you find the cave with lava, you will have to look for the bulbous red-orange deposits. Those deposits are the Brightcores. Now, you will have to use Rare Pickaxe, to mine the Brightcore.
