There are two different approaches that we will be discussing here. The first one will focus on the devices that have a built-in file manager app. The second method will focus on those devices that don’t have a native file manager. Follow along.

Devices with Built-In File Manager

Near about most of the OEMs nowadays ships their devices with a custom-built File Manager. Each of them comes with its own set of features and categories, but the ability to access the downloaded files is the same for all these Android devices.

For example, in the case of OnePlus, you get a File Manager app. Upon launching it, you should see the Download section right in the front row in the middle. This will be under the Categories section, the app’s default section.

Talking about Google Pixel devices, they have a Files app. Launch it and tap on the hamburger menu situated at the top left. From the menu that appears, you should see the Download option that holds all your downloaded files.

Likewise, Xiaomi has its own app named File Manager: Free and Easy. As soon as you launch the app, you should see the blue Downloads section in the second row.

So download and install it onto your device. Now launch the app and head over to the Browse tab. There you will find the Downloads section under the Categories.
