There is a problem with your phone reading your SIM card properly, which is why it displays the no SIM card error. Usually, this happens when you do not properly install your SIM card, when it is damaged, or when you have software issues after you update your phone’s software. Fix 1: Reboot Your Phone

You will then be able to turn on your phone again by choosing the Restart option.

Fix 2: Reset Network Settings

Ensure that there is no temporary network glitch on your Pixel 6A model by resetting the network settings. It is possible to fix such issues completely by resetting the Network. Here’s how:

Open the Settings app on your device.
Select Reset options from the System menu.
Click on Reset Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile.
Choose Reset settings > If prompted, enter your PIN, password, or pattern.
Confirm the process by tapping Reset settings (if prompted).
You will need to reboot your device in order for the changes to take effect.

Fix 3: Insert Another SIM Card

This particular issue is mainly experienced by AT&T and Verizon customers with Google Pixel 6A phones. Tap on Network & Internet from the Settings menu on the device.
Click the + (plus) icon beside SIMs.
Thereafter, tap on Download a SIM instead? or Don’t have a SIM card.
Click Next > Click Find It Here if it asks about activating in a store.

Fix 6: Re-insert SIM

If you are using your Google Pixel 6A while it is powered on, don’t insert or remove the SIM card. In such a case, you might end up affecting your SIM card or your device. Make sure you turn off your handset, remove your SIM card, and then re-insert it before switching it on again.

Be sure to turn off the device, as we mentioned earlier.
To remove the SIM tray, insert the SIM removal tool into the hole at the bottom-left side of the device and push it slightly inside.
Once the SIM tray is fully ejected, the SIM card must be removed or inserted properly.
Ensure that the gold contacts are facing up when putting the SIM card in the tray.
Afterward, gently push the SIM tray back inside the device slot.
When the device is powered on, check to see if the SIM network is active.
