How to Fix iPhone 15 and 15 Plus WiFi Not Connecting or Working Issue?

You don’t expect Apple iPhones to face problems, but they can. They are still a piece of tech. However, it would be best if you didn’t get worried as there are effective solutions to resolve them.

Below are some WiFi troubleshooting methods. One of them should fix your iPhone. So, keep applying the solutions until the problem is resolved. By the end of this article, you should have a working WiFi connection on your iPhone.

1. Toggle Off the Airplane Mode

First and foremost, check if you have accidentally left the Airplane mode in an enabled state. When it is turned on, the WiFi will be disabled automatically.

You can turn off the Airplane mode using the Control Center. It can be accessed by swiping down from the upper right corner of your screen.

Another way to do it is via the Settings app. Open it and toggle off the switch Next to Airplane mode.

If your iPhone keeps saying incorrect password, the credentials may have changed. Log into your router’s settings to see the correct password.

6. Disable WiFi Assist

iPhones have an intelligent WiFi Assist feature that can automatically switch from WiFi to mobile data when the WiFi connection is poor. Incorrect network settings could also affect WiFi networks. You can perform a network reset to restore network settings to default. But, it will remove saved WiFi networks and paired Bluetooth devices.

Here are the steps involved in the process:

  1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Please scroll down to General and tap on it.
  3. Select Transfer or Reset iPhone and tap on Reset.
  4. Click Reset Network Settings.
  5. Enter your passcode and click Reset Network Settings.

Now, go to Settings > Wi-Fi, select your WiFi network, and enter the correct password to join the network. The WiFi should work on your iPhone.

8. Disable the VPN

There are many ways of rebooting a router. An easy way to do this is by unplugging the router’s power cable for a minute and plugging it back into the socket. Now, connect your iPhone to the network and check if your connection is restored.

10. Check These Router’s Settings

Most routers have the option to set a maximum number of concurrent devices. If the maximum limit is already reached, you won’t be able to connect to the network.

You can check the maximum device limit from the router’s settings. You can either increase the limit or disconnect a connected device.

If you are still having trouble connecting to your WiFi, check if your iPhone is on the blocked list. A blocked device can’t connect or use the connection. Using a connected device, access the router’s settings page and review the blocked devices list.

To access the router’s login page, follow these steps:

  1. Grab a device (phone or laptop) connected to the WiFi network.
  2. Open a browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari).
  3. Find your router’s IP address (it’s printed on the bottom of your router). Usually, it’s either 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.2.1 for most routers.
  4. In a browser, type the router’s IP address in the address bar and press Enter.
  5. You’ll see the router’s login page. Enter the credentials.
  6. Find the blocked devices list and remove your device (if listed).

11. Test Your WiFi Connection on Another Device
