What is Last Epoch Error Code LE-61 and How to Fix It?

Last Epoch is one of the most anticipated ARPG titles of recent times, and for people who are fans of Diablo 4, this was an obvious choice. However, this online game has its fair share of woes. Ever since the day of the launch, an error code named LE-61 has been troubling gamers worldwide without any proper solution or fix. Yes, the error shows up relatively less now compared to previous times. But it still causes issues for some users from time to time.

This error code is not related to any region as well. The Last Epoch LE-61 ‘Failed to Matchmake’ error code appears in any area or server. This error code suddenly springs up without warning, putting the player out of the gameplay. So here in this article, we will go through everything you can try to fix the problem. It is reported that this error message typically shows up when you try to switch from one map to another the most. But that is not the only time you might see it. Generally, when there is server maintenance, you might see this error code. But again, sometimes it is just a simple connectivity issue from the user end causing the problem as well.

Reset your connection:

More often than not, Error code Le-61 is quite common when there is network inconsistency. In such a scenario, a simple reboot or reset of the networking device is enough for the fix. Initially, it is better to reboot the network device first. If that does not do the trick, then go on and reset the device.

Rebooting the device will reboot the network connection, and no custom settings will be changed due to this reboot. To reboot a modem or router, turn off the switch to the plug point where the router’s port is connected. Keep it off for a minute, then turn it on again. Remember to keep it off briefly, as it will drain the capacitors. You can even remove the cable from the power port and keep it disconnected for a minute.
