11. Disable Third-Party Overlay Apps

  • Select Overlay under App Settings.

Nvidia GeForce Experience:

  • Open the Nvidia GeForce Experience app.

  • Turn Off the In-Game Overlay option.

12. Disable Overclocking for CPU or GPU

If none of the workarounds helped you, manually disable CPU or GPU overclocking on your computer. The chances are high that either you’ve overclocked the CPU/GPU or it comes overclocked by default.
