There is a host of new challenges as you unlock Fontaine, the new water-based region of Genshin Impact where you can even swin underwater. These challenges will offer you rewards if you complete them, which help you progress quicker in the game. To solve the Echoing Conch under Hydro Barrier Puzzle, you will need to head to the quest location, which is none other than Salacia Plain.
The first thing you need to do is, of course, to unlock the Fontaine region. In Salacia Plain, you will find an Echoing Conch which is underwater and trapped, under the protection of a hydro barrier which requires you to solve a puzzle to unlock it. To head to the quest location, make your way to the southwest way point of Salacia Plain and head northeast. All of this takes place underwater, so you will need to swim your way through the depths. The screenshot below shows your starting point.
When you come across the hydro dome that is guarding the Echoing Conch, you will know that you have arrived at the right place. There are three Seelies in the nearby area which are part of the puzzle that you need to solve in order to free the Echoing Conch. Your task is to free the conch, and for that, you need to bring the three Seelies nearby to the pedestals inside of the hydro barrier. For the first Seelie, make your way in the southeastern direction and look for an Ousia Block behind a broken stone pedestal. Collect the Ousia Block and swim to the Pneumousia Storage Box which is a yellow glowing object. Swim through the water ring and you will free the Seelie, which you can now lead back to the hydro barrier. It will automatically enter the barrier and stay next to the Echoing Conch.
Next, you can find the second Seelie towards the northeast, with a blue crab on the platform. Absorb the ability of the crab by using any normal attack and travel behind the platform to find a boulder. You will need to use your ability on the boulder to destroy it. It will uncover the hidden Seelie that you can lead back to the barrier in the same way as the first one.
For the final Seelie, head north. You will find a couple of Mek enemies which you need to defeat in order to free the third Seelie. Once you have done so, the Seelie will follow you and you can lead it back to the puzzle. Now that all the Seelies are inside the hydro barrier, the puzzle is complete and you will be able to activate the Echoing Conch.
A short cutscene will play where the fishes gather around in the water. In the centre of the fish storm, you will find your reward of a Luxurious Chest. Go to the chest to collect your reward.
