1. Disable V-Sync

It’s better to simply disable the V-Sync feature on your Lords of the Fallen game manually by following the steps below.

Go to the game installation directory: %AppData%\Local\LOTF2\Saved\Config\Windows.
Right-click on gameusersettings.ini file > Select Open with.
Select Notepad > Set Frame Generation to False.
Press the Ctrl+S keys to save the changes and launch the Lords of the Fallen game.
Go to the Settings menu > Head over to the Display tab.
Set VSync to Off.

Add Lords of the Fallen to the program list manually by browsing and adding the game’s executable file.
Then launch the game.

AMD:

Open AMD Radeon Software.
Go to Gaming > Click on Wait for Vertical Refresh.
Select Off > Save the changes and launch the game.

3. Update Lords of the Fallen

You can try checking for game updates manually by following the steps below. An outdated game patch version eventually triggers game-launching issues or graphical glitches.

For Steam:

Open Steam > Go to Library.
Click on Lords of the Fallen on the left.
In case the game update is available, click on Update.
Until the repair process is done, you may need to wait.
Once done, reboot the PC to apply changes.

For Epic Games Launcher:

Open Epic Games Launcher > Go to Library.
Click on Lords of the Fallen on the left.
Now, click on the three-dot icon.
If the update is available, click on Update.
