In Fire Emblem Engage, you will have the ability to use powerful Emblems. These are activated with Emblem Rings that can be further upgraded with Bond Rings. The rings have attracted a lot of general interest among the players. There are 12 Emblem Rings in the game, which are connected to a protagonist of previous instalments. Meanwhile, Bond Rings are essentially an upgrade requirement, and you will need to get them if you want to upgrade your powers and strengthen your characters.

Your characters can equip Bond Rings for stat bonuses. They can improve your chances of keeping your units alive in battle. The game has a crafting mechanism where you can create your own Bond Rings and increase their stats by melding them. To craft Bond Rings, you will need to collect Bond Fragments. Getting these Bond Fragments is quite easy once you know how to do it.

All you need to do to get Bond Fragments in Fire Emblem Engage is to play through the main story. As you participate in the narrative and complete quests, you will be able to get these items. You can get them as rewards as part of finishing a quest. You will need many of them, so make sure to get every last possible one.

  • You need to collect 100 Bond Fragments to craft a Bond Ring. Here are some of the ways through which you can get more of them:
  • Complete the optional tasks which reward Bond Fragments. You can submit them at the Bulletin Board in Somniel.
  • Interact with the members in your party to get more Bond Fragments.
  • Explore the surroundings after a battle to look for these items.
  • Complete activities such as fishing in Sombiel to get more Fragments.
  • Complete Skirmish matches.

How to Craft Bond Rings

Once you have collected a hundred or more Bond Fragments, it’s time to make a Bond Ring. The first thing that you will need to do in Fire Emblem Engage to craft Bond Rings is to make your way to Somniel’s Ring Chamber. There is a pedestal here that you need to interact with. You will get a prompt to select the unit for whom you want to make a Bond Ring. You can also craft 10 Bond Rings here if you have a thousand Bond Fragments.

To use these rings, equip them on your party members. You can make one for each of them so that they receive a boost in their stats. Unlike Emblem Rings, these rings do not merge with the party member that equips them. You will be able to change the rings anytime. Additionally, you will not need to recharge Bond Rings after a battle where you defeat some enemies.

Thus, Bond Rings give you a high level of flexibility while providing a small but effective boost to Emblem Rings. You can change up the rings to best suit your combat situation. There is also the option of upgrading these rings to make them even more powerful. Make sure you have a lot of Bond Fragments on you.

How to Upgrade Bond Rings

To upgrade Bond Rings, you must meld different tiered rings together. The tiers of the Bond Rings are S, A, B, and C, with S being the highest quality. By merging two rings of different qualities together, you will be able to combine the powers of the rings and make the final product even stronger. This will also cost you some Bond Fragments, depending on the tier.

You can meld Rings by clicking on the pedestal in Somniel’s Ring Chamber and clicking on the Meld option. You will be prompted to pick the rings you want to meld together. After a short cutscene, the process will be complete. Now, you have a melded ring with the combined powers of two rings. You can use this on your character by equipping the ring on them.

That’s all you need to know about how to get Bond Fragments and craft Bond Rings in Fire Emblem Engage. You can collect a lot of Bond Fragments and make Bond Rings as many times as you want. Upgrading them is also necessary to reach your highest potential in the game.
