Fix: HomePod Can’t Find Music In Apple Music Library

HomePod is not connecting to the Apple Music Library. The unhappy music lovers couldn’t play songs through the Apple speaker. The library is not accessible from the iPhone or the speaker. Fix: HomePod is Not Connecting to Apple Music Library

Shut Down iPhone, HomePod, and Wi-Fi Network

Shut down all devices to end the session. The software on the iPhone, speaker, and Wi-Fi router works 24/7 for you. The owner should take the initiative and let the device rest. Follow the guide to close the apps and turn off all devices at once.

1. Close the Apple Music from the background on the iPhone.

2. Close the Apple Music from the background on the HomePod.

3. Shut down the iPhone and the speaker.

4. Unplug the Wi-Fi router.

Allow the three devices to sleep for ten minutes.

5. Turn on iPhone, HomePod, and a Wi-Fi router.

The software will launch the drivers, background process, and modules in the next boot. Most of the software bugs, glitches, and issues go away after you perform a shutdown.

Check Apple Server Status

Check the Apple server’s status on your smartphone or notebook. The company pays millions for cloud services. The music library must be unavailable. We can confirm the doubts through the official Apple page.

Turn On/Off the Home Services on the iCloud

The iOS will force the service to sync to the HomePod. The Apple Music Library will reconnect with the HomePod and play music.

1. Tap the “Settings” app.

2. Select the iCloud name.

Disable Listening History

The iPhone will reconnect the Apple servers and restore the library.

Hard Reset HomePod

Hard reset the HomePod and remove everything from the device. You can pair the speaker a few minutes later. Create a backup of HomePod in the iCloud. The cloud service will restore the saved data the next time you pair the HomePod with the iPhone.

1. Unplug the HomePod from the power socket.

2. Wait for ten seconds.

3. Plug the HomePod power back into the socket.

4. Place your finger on top of the HomePod for ten seconds.

5. Wait for the white spinning light to turn red.

6. Lift your finger when Siri informs you about the reset sequence.

Leave the Apple speaker aside for a few minutes. Pair the HomePod with your iPhone a few minutes later.
