Fix Magisk Not Showing Modules
Unfortunately, after Magisk version 24, the repository section, which displayed all the available modules, was removed. This removal confused users who were accustomed to easily accessing and downloading modules directly through Magisk Manager.
This has also caused rage among users, who now need to find a workaround. Fortunately, alternative methods exist to overcome this issue and still enjoy the benefits of Magisk modules. There are just two alternatives: one is to flash the modules manually, and the other is to use a third-party application. We have discussed them below.
Solution 1: Download and Flash Modules Manually
To download modules manually, visit the official Magisk repo on GitHub. Follow these steps:
- Open a web browser on your Android device.
- Go to the official Magisk repo on GitHub.
- Once you’re on the official Magisk repo website, you can explore the available modules and select the one that interests you.
- When you find a module you want to install, click on it to access its page.
- On the module’s page, scroll down until you reach the “Releases” section.
- In the “Releases” section, you’ll see a list of different module versions.
- Please tap on the latest version to expand it.
- Under the “Assets” section, you’ll find the module’s .zip file. Tap on the .zip file to start the download.
- The module .zip file will be saved to your device, usually in the Downloads folder.
- Now, launch the Magisk Manager app on your device.
- Look for the “Modules” tab within the Magisk Manager app.
- Select the downloaded module file and tap the “Install from storage” button. Magisk Manager will automatically flash the module. Follow any on-screen instructions if prompted.
- Once the installation is complete, you’ll see a notification indicating the success of the installation.
- To activate the module, tap on the “Reboot Device” button at the bottom of the screen.
- Your device will restart, and the module will be activated.
