Well, it seems that Robinhood has received overwhelming followers and users overnight. Meanwhile, some of the serious Robinhood users are getting impatient to get the issue fixed from the server-end and they’re trying to find possible workarounds to resolve this problem manually. If you’re also one of them, you can follow the steps below.

1. Check Server Status

Make sure to check the official Robinhood Twitter handle for all the latest updates and info. Additionally, you can visit the Robinhood Status page to check the server status. If there is any server issue happening in the background, simply wait for a couple of hours and try using the app again. In that scenario, there is no need to follow other steps because it’s happening from the server-end.

However, if there is no problem found in the server status then make sure to follow other methods.

2. Restart the Device

It can also possible that there is a system glitch or temporary cache problem happening in the device. In that case, you should simply restart your smartphone or tablet device to refresh the device system in order to use the app properly again.

3. Power Cycle your Wi-Fi Router

If you’re thinking that there is an issue with your networking device like a networking glitch or cache, then you can perform a power cycle to your Wi-Fi router. To do this:

  • Switch off your router first.
  • Unplug the power cable from both the router and power source.
  • Next, wait for around 5 minutes > Plug the power cable back in.
  • Finally, turn on the router and check for the problem again.

4. Reinstall Robinhood App

If none of the above methods worked for you, make sure to simply uninstall the Robinhood app from your device and then reinstall it. Sometimes the corrupted installation file or app can also cause several issues with the performance or server-connectivity.
