Google is one of the quickest when it comes to providing security patch for their phones. They have released the April’s security patch for all their phones except the Pixel C, including the Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel, and Pixel XL with build number PQ2A.190405.003. Well if you haven’t received the OTA update yet and don’t want to wait anymore, don’t worry, as you can download all the files you need from here below. The update will give you a security patch update of April 5, 2019.
The updates also bring some functional changes to phones. Check out a little changelog below:

- Improved voice unlocking performance for Google Assistant.
- Adjust Wi-fi connectivity during eSim activation on some carriers.
- Removed screen flash when ambient display wakes.

How To Update:
Before heading to the further part of this article, you can manually check for any updates on your Pixel device. To do this, Go to Settings –> System menu –> System Update —> Now tap on the Check for Update option. You can directly update from there if it shows any updates available.
