  • Click on Properties > Set the Startup type to Manual.
  • Then reboot your computer and launch the game.

11. Update Windows

The chances are also high that somehow your Windows OS becomes outdated or has some issues with the stability. In that scenario, you’ll face issues with launching or running the game properly. Check the Windows update and install it to the latest version.

  • Click on the Windows Start menu > Click on Settings.
  • Go to Update & Security > Click on Check for updates.
  • If there is a new update available, make sure to click on Download and Install.
  • Once done, restart your PC to apply changes.

12. Disable Windows Firewall

It’s also quite possible that your Windows Firewall system is somehow preventing the game files from running properly. Make sure to manually turn off the Firewall to check if the problem has been fixed or not.

  • Click on the Start Menu > Type Windows Defender Firewall and open it.
  • Next, click on Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off from the left pane.
  • Select the Turn off Windows Defender Firewall (not recommended) option for all domains.
  • Once done, click on OK to save changes > Reboot your PC to apply changes.

13. Turn Off Antivirus Protection

Some of the Windows users also mentioned that the game launching issues or easy anti-cheat error gets fixed after turning off the antivirus protection manually. So, you should also try disabling the antivirus protection whether you’re using Windows Defender or a third-party antivirus software.

  • Press the Win+I keys to open Settings.
