1. Power On DJI Action 2

It’s worth recommending to turn on the DJI Action 2 camera properly. If it’s not powered on and kept at a fair distance from the mobile device then it may not work or connect to the Mimo app easily.

2. Update Mimo App

Whereas the DJI Action 2 camera requires the Mimo app to be updated. If in case, your Mimo app isn’t up-to-date then make sure to update it to v1.7.0 or above. If not, the DJI Action 2 camera can’t be detected or connected by the Mimo app.


For Android:

As the Mimo app isn’t available on the Google Play Store anymore, Android users can download and install the latest version of the Mimo app from this official link.

For iOS:

iOS device users can easily update the Mimo app via the Apple App Store to the latest version. To do so:

  • Open the Apple App Store application on the iPhone.
  • Now, tap on the Profile Picture icon from the top-right corner.
  • Scroll down a bit to see which apps are available for update.
  • Check whether the Mimo app update is on the list or not.
  • If the app is there, then make sure to tap on the Update button.
  • Wait for the installation process to complete.
  • Once done, make sure to reboot the device, and check for the issue again.

3. Uninstall and Reinstall the Mimo App

  • Select the Delete button to uninstall it.
  • Then open the Apple App Store application on your iPhone.
  • Tap on the Search icon and type Mimo then search for it.
  • Finally, tap on the Get button or simply tap on the cloud download icon.
  • Wait for it to install completely and then start using it.
