Method 1

  • Extract the downloaded ZIP file
  • Create a folder dload in the root directory and move the update.app file in the dload folder.
  • Navigate to the phone Settings -–>Update and Click on the menu button.
  • Select Local update.
  • Tap on the Update.app file to start the installation process.
  • Once the installation process completes reboot your Huawei Honor 7x.

Method 2

  • Extract the Downloaded Nougat firmware Zip File
  • Create a folder dload in the root directory and move the update.app file in the dload folder.
  • Navigate to the phone Settings -–>Update and Click on the menu button.
  • Press “Volume Up + Volume Down and Power Button” simultaneously.
  • The Update installation will start automatically.
  • Wait until the update installation completes.

  1. It’s not working at all error while updating showing installation failed. I think Oreo partition is different from nougat we can’t rollback. I tried installing the Oreo rom but its also failed.
