Guide to Downgrade OnePlus 11 from Android 14 to Android 13

Before we get to the actual process, you should know that this process will wipe out your entire internal storage. So before going ahead with the downgrade, create a backup of everything important to you.

Once the backup is secure and your device is correctly charged, you can proceed with the steps mentioned below.

European and Indian Variant of OnePlus 11:

• Firstly, you need to download the firmware for Android 13 as per your geographical region.

• Move the downloaded firmware file to your device’s internal storage. It should not be inside any folder.
• Now open up Settings on your smartphone.
• Navigate to About device > Version.
• Tap on the Build Number 7 times, enabling the developer mode on your smartphone. You will see a small pop-up on your screen saying you are now a developer.
• Now go back to Settings and then tap on About device.
• Now tap on Up to date.
• You will see a three-dot icon at the top right corner of your screen. Tap on that and then select Local install.
• Now navigate through your internal storage and select the Android 13 firmware file.
• Tap on Extract and then select Upgrade.
• Let the installation complete, and once that is done, your device will restart itself.
• Once the restart is complete, your installation will also be done.

Global/NA Variant of OnePlus 11:

The global variants do not get an option for the local update on the update setting of the smartphone. You will need an additional application here.

• Move the downloaded firmware file to your device’s internal storage. It should not be inside any folder.
• Download and install the OnePlus Local Update APK for Android 13 using this link.
• Launch the app after the installation, and once it opens up, tap on the Settings icon at the top right corner and then select Local Install.
• Now navigate through your internal storage and select the Android 13 firmware file.
• Let the installation complete, and once that is done, your device will restart itself.
• Once the restart is complete, your installation will also be done.
