Steps to use LG Bridge with your LG Phone
First of all, you will need to download and install this software on your computer from the link below. Make sure to follow the steps to install this tool properly. Here we’ve shared backup, restore, file transfers, and firmware upgrade method in easy steps.
1. Download & Install LG Bridge on your Computer
- Head over to the LG Bridge help page on your computer using the web browser.
- Now, click on the download link next to the Windows/Mac according to your preference. [We will use Windows tool for this guide]
- Click on the LGBridge_Setup.exe to download the file on your PC/Laptop.
- Then you will need to click on the Next button.
- Tick the checkbox of I agrees to all of the terms below.
- Next, click on the Next button > Click on Install.
- The installation process will complete. Click on the Next button again.
- Now, click on the Finish button > Open the LG Bridge tool by double-clicking it. [From the Desktop or Start menu]
- Then click on the LG AirDrive from the top menu.
- You will need to Sign in with Google or Sign in with another account, according to your choice.
- Next, type your email address > Click on Next > Enter your password > Click on Sign in.
- Then you will need to Allow the permission > Set your date of birth > Click on the Save button.
- Now, mark the checkbox of Terms of Use by clicking on the circle icon.
- Finally, click on Agree and then click on OK.
2. Steps to Take a Backup of your LG phone using LG Bridge
- You need to connect your LG phone to your PC/Laptop using a USB cable.
- Now, unlock the screen on your phone > Tap on the File Transfer mode from the USB notification.
- Tap on Just once.
- Launch the LG Bridge software on the computer. Connect your device to the computer using the LG Bridge tool.
- Next, click on the LG Backup from the top menu > Click on Back up.
- Mark the checkbox by clicking which things you want to backup.
- Click on the Start button > Then click on OK and your phone will start the backup process.
3. Steps to Restore your LG phone using LG Bridge

- Next, tap on Allow > Tap on your existing account or Add account.
- Then enter your email address > Select Next > Type your password > Tap on Next.
- Now, tap on the Accept > Click on LG AirDrive option on your PC in the LG Bridge interface.
- Click on Connect > Your PC will automatically detect the LG device > Click on View files.
- Next, a new window will open and you will need to double-click on the Internal storage.
