It’s now getting clear that OnePlus was too quick in rolling out Android Pie update for its older machines OnePlus 5/5T. The Pie party began with the release of OxygenOS 9.0.0 for the device duo. In the process, in the initial phase, bugs were noticed which were crushed with OxygenOS 9.0.2 hotfix. If this fix up was not enough, new issues were again reported with 9.0.2. To deal with that Oneplus is now rolling out the OxygenOS 9.0.3. It is another hotfix software which fixes connection issues with third-party applications.
Also, the latest OxygenOS 9.0.3 for OnePlus 5/5T improves the stability for Sound settings and system upgrade. However, it seems that the Wi-Fi connectivity became stable with the previous update. It has no mention in the current changelog. Apparently, the new 9.0.3 update has also some troubles which are being reported by some users. They are reporting that Parallel Apps are not working after stepping up to 9.0.3 OxygenOS.
The new OxygenOS 9.0.3 is rolling over-the-air and weighs around 1.7 GB which is quite big. So, you can catch the airborne update or install the firmware manually. We have guided tutorials below for the same.
