Good news for all the Xiaomi Mi 9T European variant users as the company has started rolling out the latest Android version just like the Redmi K20 Indian variant users. The Xiaomi Mi 9T in Europe receives Android 10 too with the software version V11.0.1.0.QFJEUXM over MIUI 11. According to the update changelog, the Mi 9T is getting the same changes that Redmi K20 has received in India.

The new firmware update is rolling out via OTA in batches and will take a few days to arrive completely in Europe. It brings the December 2019 Security Patch Level, improves system security, Android 10 version with MIUI 11, and more improvements as well. It weighs around 2.2GB in size which is quite big enough. So, make sure to charge your device and connect to Wi-Fi at first. We have provided the full changelog below.

Manually Update Mi 9T Android 10

If you’re eagerly waiting for the stable Android 10 update, then check for the OTA via System Update manually [Phone Settings -> About Phone]. However, you can manually sideload the recovery file on your device by downloading the Europe Stable ROM (Android 10).

In order to install it, proceed to the Settings app on your phone > About Phone > System update > tap on the MIUI version logo (10 times) > tap on the 3-dot icon (top right corner) > tap on Choose update package. Go to the ‘downloaded_rom‘ folder and select the update package (internal storage).
