A few months back, certain customizations on Google Chrome worked pretty quickly and easily with the help of Flags. Until one major update to Google Chrome, certain flags were removed, and users could no longer mess with Chrome’s settings. As expected, the flag for enabling and disabling the Extensions Toolbar menu was long gone with the update.

Users will want the presence of the Extensions Toolbar menu. Some may not follow the same thinking. It’s all personal preference, so you should know how to disable or enable it. This way, you can choose between whatever you feel like. The Chrome Flag for disabling or enabling the Extensions Toolbar menu is no longer available. 1. The first step is to create a Google Chrome shortcut. For this, you have to find the installed application of Google Chrome on your computer, right-click the application, and choose to create a shortcut. You can easily find the Chrome application by searching Chrome on Windows search and right-click the application from the result to choose Open file location
   
2. Once you have the shortcut created, close your Chrome browser, and then right-click on the shortcut icon to go into its Properties. Make sure that the Chrome browser is closed prior to opening the properties. If the browser is still opened, the method won’t work
   
3. Once its properties open up, click and move the typing cursor to the very end of what’s written inside the Target box. At this end, add a space and copy-paste the following command according to your preference:
   • To enable the Extensions Toolbar menu: –enable-features=ExtensionsToolbarMenu
   • To disable the Extensions Toolbar menu: –disable-features=ExtensionsToolbarMenu
     
4. Once you’re done with that, click the Apply button and OK to save the changes. Now launch your Chrome browser from the modified shortcut itself, and the changes will be reflected.

The process is relatively easy, although it would’ve been much nicer if we had the Flags like we used to.
