Whenever a new Android OS releases there is not a single soul who doesn’t want to try it out. As it happens in the early stages of all Android OS it is only available to a few devices, namely Pixel series of phones from Google. But the same is not the case with Android Pie. Google today finally rolled the Android 9 Pie for Google Pixel devices. The 9th version of Android OS called Android 9.0 Pie is taking the game to a whole new level. Along with marking the usual presence on Google Pixel devices, Android 9.0 Pie will also be available for Xiaomi, Nokia, Sony, Vivo, OnePlus and Essential phones. Under the Android Pie Beta program, devices from these OEMs can enroll and enjoy the Android 9.0 Pie. Google claims that
Devices that participated in the Beta program from Sony Mobile, Xiaomi, HMD Global, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, and Essential, as well as all qualifying Android One devices, will receive this update by the end of this fall! We are also working with a number of other partners to launch or upgrade devices to Android 9 this year.
Google started rolling the Android 9.0 Pie today. The latest iteration of Android 9.0 Pie brings adaptive brightness, gesture navigation, the predictive action for Apps, better power optimization. Earlier the developer preview 1 (released in March) was only limited to Google pixel devices. After the developer preview 2, Google also supported few other OEM brands like Xiaomi, Nokia, Sony, Vivo, OnePlus and Essential phones. How to Enroll an Android device for Android 9.0 Pie Beta Program
Before enrolling, we have to ensure if the concerned device is eligible for Android Pie Beta program or not. So here we are putting down the list of devices that are officially eligible for Android Pie Beta.
Apart from Google devices, one device from 5 different OEMs is eligible to receive Android Pie beta.

Steps To Enroll for Android Pie Beta Program
Before knowing about enrollment, here are a few things that you must be aware of.
- As you will be on the beta channel, your device won’t receive any monthly security patch update.
- You may opt out of Beta program but you will lose all your current data that was associated with the beta ROM.
- You should backup your device data as the beta ROMs are unstable and can be buggy leading to loss of data.
- If you had previously enrolled in the Android O Beta Program, you must have to enroll again to receive Android-P OS.
If the device is eligible, then upon registering in the beta program, within 24 hours it will receive the OTA update of beta ROM.
You can start enrolling for Android Pie Beta program at Google Android OS Beta Program.
To begin with, you have to Sign in to your Google Account to see a list of your eligible devices. Then you have to opt-in and accept the Android Beta Program Terms of Service. After this, you can start sharing your views about Android 9.0 Pie with the developer team directly from your device. Also, being the beta user you can join the Android Beta Program Google+ community.
