There can be multiple reasons for this problem from occurring. Sometimes it can be some issue from the service provider side or at times an issue with the device. Here are some basic things you can do to fix Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus weak signal strength problem:

  1. Toggle flight mode on and off
  2. Power off the device, remove the SIM card, re-insert it and power it back on
  3. Contact your service provider to know the extent of coverage in your area or for some other issue from their side

Clear system cache

  1. Power off the device
  2. Press and hold volume up button, Bixby button and power button
  3. When the screen with No commands message shows up tap on the screen
  4. Use volume keys to highlight wipe cache partition and use the power button to select it
  5. Confirm by selecting yes option

Hard reset

  1. Power off the device
  2. Press and hold volume up button, Bixby button and power button
  3. When the screen with No commands message shows up tap on the screen
  4. Use volume keys to highlight wipe data/factory reset and use the power button to select it
  5. Confirm by selecting yes option

  1. I don’t see the option of more networks on my device. I found the network mode in connection but I also don’t see the GSM/WCDMA options
