How to Improve Battery Life on Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus
If you believe that your Samsung Galaxy Note 10 or Galaxy Note 10 Plus device’s battery life is not satisfactory, don’t worry because there might be nothing wrong with your smartphone concerning its hardware. Accordingly, you can improve the accumulator’s life using the following tweaks.
Use the Night Mode
The most significant battery consumer on a smartphone is its display. Even more, lighter colors consume more battery than darker tones. That’s why using dark mode is a good idea to preserve battery life. The same applies to recently released Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus, as both of which come with a Night Mode.
To enable Night Mode on Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus go to Settings -> Display -> Night mode and toggle it on by switching the slide to the ‘On’ position.
Lower the Screen Resolution
No matter how stunning it looks to watch vids and play games in Note 10 and Note 10 Plus full resolution, that would consume the battery life faster than expected. Accordingly, try to lower the screen resolution to preserve the battery. So, go to Settings -> Display -> Screen resolution and select FHD+.
That method will improve battery life on Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus, and you’ll still have a high enough resolution to enjoy watching videos and images and playing games in full quality.
Don’t Ignore the ‘Device Care’ Function
Similar to ‘Device Management’ on older Samsung Galaxy devices, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus come with its built-in ‘Device Care’ function. This feature offers you suggestions on different performance improvements that you can apply to boost your device’s speed and performance, including its battery life.
From ‘Device Care,’ you can automatically optimize your device in just one tap. Go to Settings -> Device Care and tap on Optimize Now.
Battery Saving Modes Are Always a Sure Bet
A sub-section of the Device Care function is ‘Battery.’ From there, you can select the preferred Power Mode from one of the following ones:
- High Performance – Consumes more battery life but boosts performance
- Optimized – Balances performance and battery consumption
- Minimum Power Saving – Limits some Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus features to extend battery life
- Maximum Power Saving – Boosts battery saving at the maximum
To select one of the before-mentioned Power Saving modes to improve battery life on your Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus, go to Settings -> Device Care -> Battery -> Power Mode. You’ll notice a slight improvement in battery life, but when you combine one of those modes with one or two of the other tips mentioned above, the accumulator on your Note 10 or Note 10 Plus device will last longer, undoubtedly.
