Probably the last resort which we all go to in order to fix any unresponsive application is to go to the app information settings and clear the cache and storage of that particular application. But, note that clear apps cache and storage data will completely wipe off that particular app’s settings and all your information stored for that particular application. So, backup all the data, for example, messages, personal information, etc. Follow the below steps to clear cache and storage data of the applications;

  1. Go to Settings app>> Apps & notifications>> See all apps.
  2. Now, locate the applications on which you are facing the pop-up notification problem.
  3. Then, tap on the app’s name, and tap on Storage & cache.
  4. Finally, tap “Clear cache” to clear its cache and also tap on “Clear storage” to reset the app.

You can also first clear the cache data of the app and see if it solves the issue or not and then go ahead with clearing the app’s storage data.
