Locating the Ihen-a Shrine
To find the Ihen-a Shrine, you’ll need to venture to the top of Ploymus Mountain, west of Tal Tal Peak, east of Zora’s Domain, and north of East Reservoir Lake. Beginning at the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower, follow a path marked by torches leading to Mipha Court, where the shrine is located.
The entrance to the shrine is concealed by a mass of sludge, which can be cleared away by shooting an arrow fused with Splash Fruit at it. Once the sludge is gone, the green glowing sigil of the shrine entrance will be revealed.
Navigating the Ihen-a Shrine Puzzle
The “Midair Perch” puzzle inside the shrine requires the manipulation of several floating platforms to bridge gaps and ascend platforms. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to solve it:
- Once inside the shrine, use Ultrahand to arrange the floating platforms into a stair-like formation leading to the raised platform at the rear. Alternatively, you can use Ascend to get on top of a floating platform and hop over to the next area.
- In the next chamber, you’ll come across a chasm with a Zonai stone square and a large metal grate. Activate the Zonai charge on the stone square, place it into the gap, then place the grate on top to form a bridge.
- Using this makeshift bridge, cross the gap and move both the metal grate and the Zonai-charged stone further into the room.
- Use the stone and grate to make another bridge at an angle to reach a higher platform. If necessary, use your glider to close the distance.
- On the left side of the platform in the next chamber, you’ll see a chest containing five arrows. Use the floating square stones to create a staircase to reach it.
- Now, you need to move a ball across a wide gap. Use three stones to make a moving bridge, and the fourth stone to transport the ball.
- Place two attached squares into the chasm near the cliff face, with a third separate stone ahead of them. Attach the ball to the fourth stone and move it across the gap using Ultrahand.
- Hop onto the first two squares, then leap onto the third square. Move the squares as you progress to complete the bridge and reach the other side.
- Once you’ve crossed, use Ultrahand to grab the ball and place it into the circular slot on the floor. This action will open a gate at the far end of the room.
- Finally, enter the chamber beyond the gate and examine the sigil to complete the shrine and receive the Light of Blessing.
We hope this guide helps you on your journey through Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Good luck, and enjoy the adventure across Hyrule!
