Intel has released an update v24.20.100.6229 for its graphics driver, which brings the better optimizations and playability improvement in Windows 10 devices. As the update was particularly meant for the game called ‘World of Warcraft: Battle of Azeroth’ and ‘The Walking Dead: The Final Season’, it is outlined in the Intel’s release notes. The release notes were published by the Intel in their website highlighted that the update will bring improved visuals in Dell’s HDR display range.
These update also include the security bug fixes, support for SPIR-V and the Vulkan Extension: SPV_EXT_descriptor_indexing and VK_EXT_descriptor_indexing. This driver update is available in the Intel (R) UHD Graphics, Intel (R) HD Graphics, and the Intel (R) Iris Plus Graphics. This update is specially made for the Microsoft Windows 64-but creators update, Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit Fall Creators update, and the Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit April 2018 update devices
The driver update is specially designed for 5 processing platforms of Intel and they are Gemini Lake, Apollo Lake, Skylake, Kaby Lake, and Coffee Lake processors. The Gemini Lake processor is Intel Celeron processor J series, which is specially designed for entry-level embedded devices and low-cost laptop or PC. Gemini Lake chips are manufactured under the 14nm process and it is based on Goldmont Plus architecture. Gemini Lake chips are the successor of Apollo Lake chips. The Apollo Lake is the successor of Braswell chip and it is also designed for entry end devices and manufactured under the 14nm process. The Skylake is 6th generation Intel processor which is also manufactured under the 14nm process. The Kaby Lake is the 7th generation Intel Processor and the Coffee Lake is the 8th generation Intel processor, both are manufactured under the 14nm process. Almost all 14 nm fabricated processors are ready for this update.
