List of Supported devices which will receive iOS 14

When it comes to Apple users, the main update that the device awaits is the iOS update. In fact, there were quite a few commendable features in the current iOS version i.e. the iOS 13. However, users are keen to get their hands on the next version iOS 14 which is expected to be unveiled in June at WWDC event alongside the iPad OS 14. But, users of the iPhone also are pretty eager to know whether their devices will support the latest iOS 14 or not. If you are running the old iPhone then this post holds more importance. As in this article, we will share with your the list of the supported device which will receive iOS 14.

Way ahead of its release, according to a report, it suggests that all the devices that supported iOS 13 will also be supporting the iOS 14. However, there will be some changes for the iPad OS 14 list of devices. iOS 14 will continue its support to iPhone SE along with the iPhone 6s. Below is the list of iPhones that will support iOS 14:

iOS 14 devices:

  • iPhone 11 Pro
  • iPhone 11 Pro Max
  • iPhone 11
  • iPhone XS
  • iPhone XS Max
  • iPhone XR
  • iPhone X
  • iPhone 8
  • iPhone 8 Plus
  • iPhone 7
  • iPhone 7 Plus
  • iPhone 6s
  • iPhone 6s Plus
  • iPhone SE
  • iPod touch (7th generation)

Obviously, all the iPhones that are going to be launched in 2020 will support the iOS 14 and in fact, will come out of the box with it. There are suggestions that the rumored iPhone SE 2, as well as the iPhone 9, will also support iOS 14. But, for any confirmation, we will have to wait for some concrete info on this matter.

Now coming to the iPad OS 14 list of supported devices, as mentioned above, a few Apple devices will be cut off from the list. Rumors suggest that iPad mini 4 will be dropped from the list along with iPad Air 2. Notably, iPad mini 4 was introduced back in September 2015 while the iPad Air 2 was unveiled in October 2014. Below is the list of devices that are expected to support iPad OS 14.
