Meizu 16, is now one of the most awaited flagship phone releasing this year. They are giving us so many reasons to eagerly wait for the its launch. Now, Meizu is seen as a company that doesn’t gives a damn about the current market trends, but instead comes up with something unique and innovative. Meizu Pro 7 and the Meizu 15 were perfect examples of this. Now, it is the turn of the Meizu 16. We have been seeing the leaks and news about the phones since a long time.
A photo has again surfaced on Weibo, showing the display panels of both Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus. This clearly gives us an idea how the phones will look from the front. Have a look at the photo below.
The photo hints towards a great screen to body ratio of the phone, though not as much as of the Vivo Nex and Oppo Find X. Though, a screen to body ratio more than the iPhone X and MI 8 has been confirmed by J. Wong, the founder of Meizu in past. Along with this, he has also revealed so many other details about the phone. The phone will come in a price range between 3000 to 4000 Yuan. All the variants of the phone will pe powered by Snapdragon 845, except a Snapdragon 710 powered lite version, that will cost less than 3000 Yuan. Interestingly, all the variants of Meizu 16 will come with an under display fingerprint sensor. Another interesting aspect of the phone is the absence of notch.
To deal with extreme gaming sessions, the phone will have an inbuilt copper cooling tube to keep it cool. It is also expected that Meizu will improve their mCharge fast charging technology to 30W from the current 25W. The phone will also have a 1080P OLED screen with pressure sensitive feedback for better gesture based controls and the fingerprint reader hidden inside it. Dual stereo speakers are also expected to make a place inside the phone like the Meizu 15, with a dedicated Hi-fi audio chip. 3.5mm audio jack will also be present for the music freaks.
The phone is expected to launch somewhere around the end of July or early in August. The specifications and the expected launch period of the phone have been revealed by the founder and CEO of Meizu, Mr. Jack Wong himself. As of now further information about the phone still remains as a mystery. Stay tuned with us for any future update regarding the phone!
