Meizu 16 is in the hype now since months, and is expected to be one of the best flagships released in the recent times due to its many features, some of them being unique and against the current trends being hated by many costumers. One of them is the notch above the screen, which covers most of the part of the notification bar.
Today, the phone first appeared on TENAA ( Chinese equivalent of FCC) along with some specifications. The phone looked quite ugly in those photos, and Li Nan the senior VP of Meizu wasn’t satisfied with them. He then shared some official renders of the phone on Weibo. Have a look at them.
The photos flaunt the beauty of the phone. While almost all brands are going for phones with a notch, Meizu decided to add a small top bezel like the Samsung Galaxy flagship series to house all the sensors, selfie camera, and the speaker.
The specifications of both Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus were also surfaced on TENAA earlier today. The phones look like a solid flagship, and the expected lower price makes them even more interesting. Checkout the specifications of the phones:
The phone appeared by the model number M882Q. It has a 6 inch Full HD OLED screen on the front. The Snapdragon 845, which powers almost all of the flagships released this year is inside the phone. But what’s special is a little upgraded Adreno 630 GPU, which according to some old leaks pushes the Antutu score of the phone above all the current flagships. The battery capacity of the phone is just 3000 mAh.
Meizu 16 Plus
The phone’s model number is M892Q. Many specifications of the phone are same as of the Meizu 16, as it is just a larger screened variant. The phone has the same Snapdragon 845 Soc along with Adreno 630 GPU to handle everything you throw at it smoothly. It has a bigger 6.5 inch Full HD OLED display. The battery capacity is also a little improved to 3570 mAh.
The release date of the phones is expected to be August 8. For more information about the phones, stay tuned with us!
