The update also brings stability and improvements to the overall software performance. Last year, Xiaomi has launched a flagship-range smartphone called Mi 10 on the top of Android 10 (MIUI 11). The device is a success of Mi 9 and recently received the MIUI 220.127.116.11 China Stable a month ago, the company has started pushing out the latest MIUI 18.104.22.168 China Stable ROM for Mi 10 Chinese variants. It’s arriving with the improved system security that includes April 2020 Android Security Patch with a software version V22.214.171.124.QJBCNXM that you can download and install from the guide below.
Now, talking about the April 2020 patchset, it fixes a critical security vulnerability in the System component that could enable a remote attacker by executing arbitrary code in the Android system. There is nothing additional features or improvements available in this update. As the OTA update is making its way in a phased manner, it will take some time to roll-out in a broader way. However, all the interested Mi 10 (Codename: umi) Chinese variant users can check for the OTA update manually.

You can manually head over to the device Settings > About Phone > Software Update. If any software update is available, simply download and install it. Also, make sure to charge your phone more than 50% minimum and connect to the Wi-Fi network for a faster/stable download.
