Updated on August 28, 2020: Today Xiaomi rolled MIUI 11.0.5.0 for Redmi Note 8T with the August 2020 security patch. The update labeled with V11.0.5.0.PCXMIXM.

Updated on May 30, 2020: Today Xiaomi rolled the May 2020 security patch to the Redmi Note 8T (Codename: willow) globally with version V11.0.4.0.PCXMIXM. The update has no major changes apart from security patch and regular bug fix. If you are using the Redmi Note 8T, you can manually download and install MIUI 11.0.4.0 Global Stable ROM on Redmi Note 8T based on Android 9.0 Pie.

As we speak, the update has already started rolling over the air for users globally in a phased manner. It may take days or weeks to reach every device around the corner. In case, if you are not patient enough to wait, then follow this guide to install the update on your Redmi Note 8T (willow).

Manually Check OTA Updates

Before moving to the guide, we recommend you first check if the OTA is already available for your device manually. To do that,  go to the phone Settings > About Phone > Software update.
