How to use motion controls in Fortnite?

The process is straightforward. So let’s see how you can do it.

  • In the game’s main menu, press the + button on your Switch. This will take you to the upper part of your screen.
  • Scroll to the gear icon in the top right side and press A to select it.
  • In the settings menu, scroll down, and you will find an option called Motion Enabled. Turn it on.

And now you have successfully turned on motion controls in Fortnite. You will notice that there are a bunch of other settings below Motion enabled. These are Motion Sensitivity Not Targeting, Motion Sensitivity Targeting, Motion Sensitivity Scoped, and Motion Sensitivity Harvesting tool. All these settings control the amount of sensitivity you might prefer in different situations during the gameplay.

Motion Sensitivity Not Targeting: This will let you adjust the sensitivity of motion controls when you are not targeting anyone with your weapon.
Motion Sensitivity Targeting: This is opposite to the previous one, and lets you adjust the sensitivity of motion controls when you are targeting someone with your weapon.
Motion Sensitivity Scoped: This will let you adjust the sensitivity of motion controls when you are using a weapon with a scope.
Motion Sensitivity Targeting Harvesting Tool: This setting lets you adjust the motion control sensitivity of the harvesting tool.
