Moto G8 Power
The GeeekBench listing shows that the device has managed to score 311 in Single-Core test and 1,357 in Multi-Core test. Also, the listing reveals that the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm made chipset. With that scores and clock-speed, it resembles with the mid-ranger chipset from Qualcomm, namely Snapdragon 665 SoC. Furthermore, the device will boast 4 gigs of RAM, and there’s no information about the other variants that may arrive alongside. The listing suggests that the device will have Android 10 out of the box. There’s a certain amount of chance that the device will have stock Android with some customisations from Moto.
From the previous reports, the device is said to sport a 6.36” FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a punch-hole. Also,it may have a large 5000 mAh battery with 18W Quickcharge 3.0 support as well. The front camera is tipped to be a single 25MP shooter. There’s not much of details about the rear camera setup, yet we expect the device to feature a quad-camera setup. It is most likely to feature a 48MP primary lens, but many reports suggest that it may feature 16MP shooter instead of a 48MP one.
About the vanilla Moto G8, there aren’t many information available, yet it will have the same SoC. It will sport a 6.39” HD+ display, with a punch-hole. Other differences include a smaller 4000 mAh battery, with no fast charging support, i.e., there’s only 10W charging. The device is expected to have a Triple-camera setup on the rear with a 16MP lens as primary shooter.
As of now, these all are the details about the upcoming Moto G8 series devices available till date. We can expect a bit more details on upcoming days, as the MWC 2020 is closing in.
