How to Obtain Anomaly Shards in Warframe?

  • Tenebrous Ephemera – 15
  • Anomaly Captura scenes – 10

In order to get the Anomaly Shards, you have to get to the Veil Proxima and fight the sentiments. For that, continue reading.

Getting to the Veil Proxima

You need to be persistent and patient in order to get to the Veil Proxima in the game. First, you have to progress through the Star Chart and then work on building your Railjack. This is a cumbersome grinding task that can take a few days, so keep persevering. The Railjack nodes themselves work very much like the regular Star Chart. You will need to clear nodes on each planet before you can move on to the next planet.

The first Proxima you will encounter is the Earth Proxima, and then you will get to the Saturn Proxima. After knocking out both of them, you will gain access to the higher-level Veil Proxima. We should mention here that when you obtain the ability to do so, you can consider entering a Railjack mission with a friend who has one. This will save you precious time and the tedious effort of grinding to build it yourself.

Locating the Sentient Anomaly

In Warframe, the Sentient Anomaly is a distinct class of deadly enemies known as the Murex. Eventually, you will discover that these formidable creatures are another part of the ongoing crisis created by the Sentients. As you can imagine, defeating them is not going to be an easy task. The Murex ship will occupy any random node in the Veil map segment for every 30 minutes. You should be able to easily identify this particular node because it will be highlighted with a unique, flashing red marker, and there will be Murex notifications on it as well.

When you enter into this mission, you will have to hunt down the Sentient ship in the level and board it to start battling the Sentients. Cephalon Cy will order you to board the Murex and slay 20 Sentient foes as your mission objective. Of course, all players don’t need to board the Murex because the Anomaly Shard will be credited to all the members of the squad once the mission has been accomplished, irrespective of the role you are playing in the mission.
