OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus 11R 5G, a more budget-friendly alternative to the premium OnePlus 11. The device offers impressive features, such as up to 16GB of RAM and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera sensor.

The OnePlus 11R 5G boasts a 6.74-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1240 x 2772 pixels, delivering an aspect ratio of 20:9. With HDR10+ playback support and a peak brightness of 1450 nits, the FHD+ panel offers a high-quality visual experience. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, built on a 4 nm process, which is an octa-core CPU featuring one Cortex-X2 core clocked at 3.19 GHz, three Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2.75 GHz, and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1.80 GHz, with an Adreno 730 GPU handling graphics-intensive tasks. Running on top of Android 13, the OxygenOS 13 skin gives users a personalized experience.
For photography, the OnePlus 11R 5G boasts a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 50 MP primary sensor and an f/1.8 lens, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor with an f/2.2 lens, and a 2 MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 lens. At the front, the phone features a 16 MP primary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. While the rear camera can capture 4K videos at 60 fps, the front camera can record 1080p videos.
The phone comes in two storage options: 128GB internal storage with 8GB of RAM or 256GB internal storage with 16GB of RAM, but there is no dedicated microSD slot for storage expansion. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS (L1+L5), NFC, Infrared port, and USB Type-C 2.0. Sensors on the device include an under-display optical fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and color spectrum. A 5000 mAh battery powers the phone, and it supports 100W fast wired charging, allowing the device to charge from 1% to 100% in just 25 minutes with the 100W adapter. The phone is available in Galactic Silver and Sonic Black.

How To Check For Software Updates on OnePlus 11R 5G
Before you go ahead and flash the update manually on your phone, it is always advised to check the update via OTA. This makes the process much easier than doing labor manually updating your phone. In order to check for the update OTA:
- Open Settings.
- Tap on System Updates.
- Tap Check for updates.
- If a new update is available to tap on Download.
