After trying it out with the beta users, Oneplus is now integrating the Google duo with the OxygenOS dialer, messaging App of the OnePlus 5T. That means it will now be convenient for the user to access and use the Google Duo for video calling purposes.
The new stable software also packs the January 2019 security patch for the older flagship duo. This update aims to improve the stability of the network and the OTA upgrade mechanism. After Android pie began rolling for OnePlus5/5T, we saw a series of Hotfix updates came up to the rescue of the devices due to bugs in the stable updates. This situation was an apparent result of the hasty system upgrade. Let’s hope the current stable iteration doesn’t end up being hotfixed.

So, if you are looking to capture the OTA, then do so via a Wi-Fi network. This way you can save carrier data charges. As per Oneplus routine goes, the OTA is incremental in nature. You may see the new update with changelog. It will prompt you to Download and Install. Follow the instructions and go ahead. make sure to charge the battery of your device before installing the new OxygenOS 9.04 update.
