OxygenOS 9.0.5 for OnePlus 5T is Now Rolling with April 2019 Security [Download OTA]

OnePlus is currently seeding the stable OxygenOS 9.0.5 for OnePlus 5T in various regions. With this update, the company is pushing the April 2019 security patch for the device. It is based on Android Pie. However, this software is only available for OnePlus 5T and not the OnePlus 5. Maybe soon it will roll for the latter. Coming to the latest upgrade, along with security level-up it also improves the stability of Phone App.

How To Manually Install OxygenOS Firmware on OnePlus 5T..?

You can use two methods to install the latest OxygenOS 9.05 for OnePlus 5T. The first process is the local upgrade method. In this, you have to copy the ROM file to your device storage. Then enter your phone into recovery mode and flash the ROM zip file. The second method is to use ADB Sideloading the ROM file.

Step-1 Download the OTA zip file and move it to the internal storage on your OnePlus 5T.

Step-2 Now go to Settings App > System Updates > click on Settings icon > Local Upgrade

Step-4 Now you will see a screen that will prompt you to upgrade your phone, Click Upgrade Now.

Step-5 Your device will reboot and flash the OTA file via Stock Recovery.

Step-6 After it boots up, switch off the phone > hold the Volume Down + Power button to enter recovery mode.
