Such as a poor internet connection, an outdated web browser, compatibility issues with the web browser, an outdated Paramount+ mobile application version, app cache data issues, Paramount+ server outages, and more.

This playback kind of issue on Paramount+ can be resolved by following the troubleshooting methods below. Make sure to follow all workarounds until the problem has been fixed. So, without further ado, let’s jump into it.

1. Restart the Streaming Device

It’s worth mentioning to restart your streaming device whether it’s a mobile, PC, or TV to ensure there is no temporary glitch present. Sometimes system cache can also trigger errors with the content playback or even the app launching.

2. Relaunch Paramount+ Multiple Times

12. Reinstall the Paramount+ App

Another thing you should do is to uninstall and reinstall the Paramount+ app on your mobile or PC. It’ll eventually delete all the saved app application data and refresh its data which should fix the issue. Although reinstalling the app isn’t a good idea for everyone, there is nothing to do at your end.

For Android Mobile:

  • Tap and hold the Paramount+ icon to bring the pop-up menu.
  • Now, tap on Uninstall. [You can also go to App Info and select Uninstall]
  • Once uninstalled completely, just reboot your mobile.
  • Finally, go to the Google Play Store app > Search for Paramount Plus and tap on Install.

For iPhone:

  • Tap and hold the Paramount+ icon from the home screen on your iPhone.
  • Now, select Remove App from the pop-up menu > Tap on Delete App.
  • The system will again ask you whether to delete the app or not.
  • Select the Delete button to uninstall it.
  • Then open the Apple App Store application on your iPhone.
  • Tap on the Search icon and type Paramount Plus then search for it.
  • Finally, tap on the Get button or simply tap on the cloud download icon.
  • Wait for it to install completely and then start using it.

For Android TV:

If you’re using an Android smart TV then check the following steps to easily uninstall and reinstall the Paramount+ application.

  • From the Android TV Home screen, go to Settings.
  • Under Device, select Apps.
  • Under Downloaded apps, choose the Paramount+ app.
  • Now, select Uninstall and then OK.
  • Once uninstalled, restart the TV.
  • Then go to Apps from the home screen.
  • Open Google Play Store > Search for Paramount+ and Install it again.
