As every smartphone manufacturer are prepared to roll out Android Pie update, Samsung has finally bringing Android Oreo update for most budget devices out there. Today Samsung has started rolling Android 8.0 Oreo Update for Galaxy On7 Prime.

The update is rolling via OTA (over the air) and currently available in UAE (United Arab Emirates). As per the update, it is rolling in a phase-wise manner and will reach every corner very soon. The software version on the new update labeled as G611FXXU1BRI6 and comes with all Android 8.0 features along with October 2018 Security patch.
Before proceeding to upgrade the Galaxy On7 Prime, your phone must have enough battery backup with at least 50% battery and also enough storage to complete the installation process. We also suggest you to choose a stable Wi-Fi or a 4G connection to download it.
However, if you don’t have the patience to wait, you may try capturing the OTA manually. To do it, go to device Settings > System > System Update. If you see the OTA showing up with the latest version number, download and install it.
Android 8.0 Oreo brings many new features such as notification dots, night light, Picture-in-picture (PiP)mode, improved battery life, and enhanced Doze mode etc. Along with this, you will have amazing features such as keyboard navigation, Adaptive icons, and new Wi-Fi features.
