In this guide, we will look at all the different kinds of fish in the Sea of Thieves and their fishing locations. Sea of Thieves introduced Fishing to players as a part of its April 2019 update. Pirates can take a break from the regular treasure raids and skeleton hunts by catching, cooking, and even selling fish.
Players who are interested in earning a better reputation amongst Hunter’s Call will need to go Fishing. The Hunter’s Call is a small fraction of fishermen on the island. They also deal with chicken, shark, or pork, but Fishing is the most efficient way of earning a better rep.
Fishing in Sea of Thieves is relatively simple, and there are close to 10 different types of fishes in the Sea of Thieves. Each fish type has its own unique rarities that need to be considered first before heading out to fish. Players should also keep in mind that when they are fishing alone, they and their ship become vulnerable out in the open. It takes a few minutes to actually catch something and a few more to cook it. This means during this time, players cant participate in defending their ships.
