How to get sand and mud in the Survivalists?
Sand and mud are essential for building walls and windows in the game. Apart from that, you also need these two items to build the Forge, which is the source of many high-end craftables.
The building and crafting system of the game works in a pattern. Firstly when you start, you build the hand axe, following which many other simple tools unlock. Like the small items, you also have placement mode in the game, which starts with a bed building. After building the bed, build a fire pit, and you get access to the crafting bench. With the unlocked small items and the crafting bench, you are then set to build small items needed for farming sand and mud.
Next, complete a few of the recipes from the tool handle and flimsy axe branch. This will unlock the flimsy shovel recipe, which is what you will need to find the sand and mud. You need 1x tool handle, 1x stone chunk, and 2x rope to make the flimsy shovel, and once that is done, you are then ready for the search of mud and sand.
For collecting some mud, you will have to dig up the grasslands which border the beach. These are green and grassy, and you need to dig it up using your flimsy shovel. Under the grass, you will find the mud if you dig around. And for sand, you can dig around anywhere on the sandy part of the beach. Here, use the same flimsy shovel again.
Don’t forget to use your monkey companions to make the task easier. Just click on the train command and dig for a while around the sandy and grassland areas. After that, pass your shovel to the monkey, and it will continue digging for mud and sand for you.
