T-Mobile OnePlus 6T New Update rolling Now: A6013_34_181228

OnePlus 6T was one of the important flagship releases of 2018. Interestingly, the device marked its grand entry in the USA through popular carrier T-Mobile. The Chinese smartphone ace is popular for dropping timely software updates for its devices. Even after teaming up with T-Mobile OnePlus continues its punctual rollout of updates for the device. Speaking of which, currently, T-Mobile is seeding out a new software update in the US which brings some improvements to the network. It comes with the build number A6013_34_181228. Of course, this update is based on Android 9.0 Pie.


It fixes up the network issues which happened due to roaming not supported by various carriers.  The A6013_34_181228 software is rolling over-the-air. Some users have reported that the current update weighs a little more than 1.5 GB. So, we can expect some more bug fixes and other than fixing the network issue.

This T-Mobile 6T update just began rolling out two days ago. So, all users of T-Mobile may not see it at once. As OnePlus follows a phase-wise approach, it will show up gradually on your device. Though your device will automatically notify you of the update, you can manually search for it.

Go to device Settings –> System Updates–> Tap on Software updatesCheck for the latest OTA update. If it is available, it will show up with the changelog and new build number A6013_34_181228. Simply download and install it by following the on-screen instructions. Use a Wi-Fi network to download the OTA and also charge your device battery up to 50%. Also, recently global OnePlus 6T got stepped up to OxygenOS 9.0.11. OnePlus 5 and 5T received Android Pie update as well.

Though carrier based updates are not as frequent as global updates still these bring important fixes. So, make sure you catch it. Also, let us know if you observe some other changes on your T-Mobile Oneplus 6T after upgrading to A6013_34_181228.
