Xiaomi is coming up with its new sub brand Poco. The Pocophone F1 will be the first phone released by Poco. Other than this, Xiaomi has another sub-brand Black Shark, which released a gaming phone some times back.
The launch date of the phone isn’t known as of now, not were any of the details about the launch. But now, a teaser image with a dedicated page has appeared on Flipkart, titled “As Fast As You”.
Now, you might think that no where is it mentioned that the phone is Pocophone F1, but have a look at the cover photo of Poco India on Twitter and Facebook:
Now by looking at these images, it is almost confirmed that Flipkart is mentioning the Pocophone F1. Now talking about the phone, Poco is stressing on the word speed. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 845 Soc. It looks like the phone would be really fast, but the recently leaked benchmark scores put it behind some recent flagships like the Meizu 16, etc. Also, the phone has a liquid cooling system to handle long gaming sessions, like on the Samsung S7 and Meizu 16. If priced rightly, it could be a great balanced phone.
Xiaomi doesn’t bring its flagships to India except the Mix lineup, so the fans can grab the Pocophone F1 instead. It is expected to be priced a little cheaper in India than other markets, as according to an earlier report it will be 100% made in India. The phone has been leaked in so many images and unboxing videos, which makes us think could they be intentional.
According to all those leaks, the phone will have dual 12+5 MP rear cameras powered by AI, and a 20 MP front camera for the selfie lovers. A 4000 mAh battery will fuel the phone, and will support Quick Charge 3.0 to charge it quickly. It will run on MIUI 10 on top of Android Oreo. Stay tuned with us for any future updates!
