So Manufacturer made a policy of making the smartphone with Unlocked Bootloader will void the warranty. They want you to stick with the Stock ROM. Unlock Bootloader allows you to Root your android smartphone, Flash TWRP and Custom ROM in a simple easy method.

PRE-REQUISITE TO UNLOCK BOOTLOADER ON LG V20

  1. Charge your phone up to 80% or 70%
  2. You will Loose warranty if you unlock bootloader

What Do You need ?

STEPS TO UNLOCK BOOTLOADER ON LG V20

  1. First of all enable the Developer Option
  2. To Enable the Developer Option, Go to your Settings -> About Phone -> Now Tap on the Build Number 7-8 Times until you see a toast message “Developer option enabled“ 
  3. Now you need to enable the OEM Unlock by going to Settings -> Developer Option and Enable OEM Unlock oem-unlocks
  4. Download the ADB and Fastboot ZIP and Extract it on your computer
  5. Turn your phone off and Boot your phone into Bootloader by pressing Volume Up + Power Button Simultaneously until you see a fastboot/bootloader
  6. Now go to the folder where you have extracted the ADB and Fastboot Tools
  7. Plug the phone into your PC, then open a command prompt window by pressing Shift Key + Right Mouse Click 
  8. Now type the command in your command window
    fastboot devices
  9. This command will list the connected devices. If your phone’s serial number shows up you are good to go and may continue. If the phone is NOT listed this indicates that your drivers are not installed correctly. In order for you to continue you must fix your drivers so that your phone is listed under fastboot devices.
  10. If the phone has been recognized by the command above, proceed to unlock the bootloader with the following command: Remember that this step will wipe EVERYTHING off the phone
    fastboot oem unlock
  11. You have unlocked Bootloader on LG V20
  12. To check the status of your bootloader lock, type the following command
    fastboot getvar all
  13. Now you can reboot your phone by entering the command
    fastboot reboot
  14. Click Enter and That’s it ! Voila.! You have unlocked bootloader !

  1. could you please tell me,what exactly i have2do..heres my problem…i know all about the bootloader twrp adb ,roms,etcmy problem is this phone was mymoms,and i dontknow her google frp info…so,i ant get into phone to set oem unknown,etc so what are the steps4me to be able to do this????please,i need help….t.y.4.y.t.
