The Vivo V20 2021 features a 6.44 inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730, which is quite an old processor built on an 8nm manufacturing process. It is an octa-core processor with two Kryo 470 Gold cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and six Kryo 470 Silver cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. The smartphone runs on Android 11 out of the box with Funtouch 11 skin on top of it.
For optics, we get a triple camera setup at the rear and a single camera at the front. The rear setup consists of a 64MP primary sensor paired with an f/1.9 lens, an 8MP ultrawide sensor paired with an f/2.2 lens, and a 2MP depth sensor paired with an f/2.4 lens. Coming to the front, we have the USP of the device, a 44MP sensor paired with an f/2.0 lens. Both the front and rear setup is capable of 4K video recording.
Coming to storage options, we only get one with this device with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is a dedicated slot for storage expansion via a MicroSD card, though. In terms of communications, we have Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, FM radio, and USB Type-C 2.0. For sensors, we get an under-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Powering all of it is a 4000 mAh battery that is capable of 33W fast charging. This smartphone is available in three color options: Sunset Melody, Midnight Jazz, and Moonlight Sonata. The phone sells for a compelling price of ₹ 24,990.
